Alison Chandler

Alison Chandler has been teaching Creative Writing for seven years. She works with adults and teenagers, designing and running workshops and courses for beginners and intermediates, and mentoring work in progress to finished manuscript.

Alison is particularly interested in what stops writers from writing, and helping writers overcome self-imposed barriers to discover their strengths. She is a passionate advocate of lifelong learning.

Alison has been a visiting lecturer at Bucks New University and is on the teaching team for Literature and Creative Writing at Richmond Adult Community College. She is also a GCSE English Literature and Language tutor.

Alison holds an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck along with a BA Humanities (Birkbeck), BA English Literature (Royal Holloway College) and MA English Literature (Queen Mary College), and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
